Job summary

NewGen is seeking a skilled field technician to install, operate and repair end-user devices across customer sites. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, perform maintenance on devices and systems, and install/configure software with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a TS/SCI FSP clearance, reads technical manuals, and communicates effectively with end users while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI FSP Clearance required.
• High school/GED with 4+ years experience or Associate degree with 2+ years experience.
• Highly skilled in installing, repairing and troubleshooting VTC devices and systems.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in working with end-users remotely.
• Familiar with Active Directory security and policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 Certification.

Responsibilities

• Installing, operating, maintaining, repairing and modifying end user devices such as PCs, thin-clients, NICs, phones, monitors, printers, pagers, and radios.
• Performing maintenance and technical support on devices, integrated systems and subsystems, and install/configure software at customer and/or field locations.
• Troubleshooting and solving technical issues related to end user equipment hardware and software
• Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
