Job summary

Gordian, a Fortive company, seeks a Vice President of Operations Procurement - West to steer the Pacific and Central West regions, overseeing Regional Directors and driving growth, margin, and client outcomes across diverse markets.

You will collaborate with the COO and peers to shape operational strategy, remove obstacles, and ensure disciplined execution. Expect significant travel across the West region.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in operational leadership, procurement, or construction with leadership of leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven success overseeing multi-region operations with revenue and margin accountability.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 40–50% across the West region.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Regional Directors; ensure accountability for performance.
• Set expectations for execution, financial discipline, and service delivery across West regions.
• Foster a performance-oriented culture focused on ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with executive leadership to align operations with growth and client outcomes.
• Drive consistency, scale, and capability across regions while allowing market-specific needs.
