Job summary

Gordian, a Fortive company, seeks a Vice President, Operations Procurement – West to lead multi‑region procurement performance, scale operations, and drive revenue and margin improvements. You will partner with the COO and senior peers to set direction, solve complex challenges, and ensure disciplined execution across initiatives affecting client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience: 12+ years in operational leadership, procurement, construction, or closely related fields, including leadership of leaders.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to ~40–50% across the West region.
• Proven success overseeing multi-region operations with revenue and margin accountability.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise & Regional Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop Regional Directors, ensuring accountability for performance and client outcomes.
• Operational Excellence & Problem Solving: Identify systemic challenges and lead cross-regional solutions to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Growth Enablement & Performance Improvement: Support regional growth, client launches, and expansions while protecting margins and quality.
• Financial Ownership & Business Management: Own consolidated operational performance, forecast accuracy, and countermeasures to protect revenue.
• Cross-Functional Executive Partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Product, Technology, Legal, HR, and Government Affairs to translate decisions into action.
• Talent Development & Succession: Build a bench of capable regional leaders and embed ownership and continuous improvement.
