Job summary

MS Transverse, a subsidiary of MSIG USA and part of MS&AD Insurance Group, seeks a seasoned PUA-QA leader to design and run the end-to-end audit framework for delegated underwriting authority. You will drive risk-based audit programs, establish scoring, and coordinate with leadership on remediation and renewal decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of P&C underwriting, underwriting audit, or underwriting governance experience; minimum 5 years in a program carrier, MGA, or delegated authority environment.
• Experience building governance or audit function from the ground up with carrier–MGA experience.
• Broad multi-line P&C underwriting knowledge across commercial and/or personal lines.
• Working knowledge of lines of defense frameworks, RCSA methodologies, and second-line governance best practices.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfort with data and portfolio analytics; AI/automation tool experience is a differentiator.
• Experience defining data requirements for MGA/TPA bordereaux (BDX) reporting and building remote monitoring capabilities are strong pluses.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to present findings to senior leadership and maintain independence with MGA partners.
• Bachelor’s degree required. CPCU/AU/CIA/CISA/ARM or equivalent designation valued.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the end-to-end PUA-QA program architecture and audit universe.
• Build the PUA-QA audit framework with five core domains and testing procedures.
• Develop and maintain a weighted domain scoring framework and remediation actions.
• Establish statistically defensible sampling and 100% review criteria for large programs.
• Serve as MST’s second line of defense with clear boundary documentation.
• Integrate audit scope with Binding Authority Agreements and underwriting guidelines.
• Produce quarterly dashboards and present findings to senior leadership.
• Lead or supervise on-site and virtual PUA-QA audits with cross-functional teams.
• Drive multi-year resource planning and vendor strategy for audit capacity.
