Qualifications

• Several years (typically 5+) in life insurance underwriting with medical and financial expertise.
• Solid understanding of underwriting guidelines, risk selection, and mortality assumptions.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Audit post-issue underwriting initiatives for technical accuracy and guideline adherence.
• Review medical and financial underwriting decisions for alignment with risk appetite.
• Identify trends in audit findings and prepare clear management reports.
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Risk Management to monitor CAPs and remediation.
• Support enhancement of the Underwriting Risk Control Framework and KRIs.
• Help translate audit findings into training and guideline clarifications.
