Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a Product Owner for Underwriting to bridge Underwriting and Technology. The role focuses on submission intake, referral workflows, pricing support, and quote/bind processes across Commercial P&C lines.

You will own the roadmap, drive shared solutions, and guide delivery with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product ownership, 2–3 years with major insurance platforms, and solid Agile experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, Product Manager, or similar role.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience with Solartis, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar platforms.
• 2–3 years experience in E&S insurance with underwriting focus.
• Experience working in Agile environments and delivering technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate underwriting vision, strategy, and roadmap with stakeholders.
• Own underwriting capabilities across multiple product lines and shared functions.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow designs for underwriting tools.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and ensure high-quality releases.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
