Job summary

Stout is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients. You’ll offer critical insights that shape investment decisions and negotiation strategies.

You’ll supervise analysts, manage multiple engagements, and partner with management teams to deliver clarity, confidence, and actionable intelligence throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 7–10 years in audit and/or financial accounting due diligence (with at least 2 years in due diligence). Big Four experience preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
• Provide insights that shape investment decisions and negotiation strategies.
• Perform quality of earnings assessments and working capital analysis.
• Supervise analysts and associates on projects.
• Lead due diligence calls with client and target company management.
• Support business development and proposals.
