Job summary

Stout is seeking a Senior Vice President for their Transaction Advisory practice in Washington, DC. You will lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients, providing critical insights to shape investment decisions and negotiations.

Your leadership will drive quality of earnings, working capital analysis, and risk assessment across the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related major.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in audit and/or financial accounting due diligence (with at least 2 years in due diligence). Big Four experience preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Responsibilities

Supervise analysts and associates to ensure efficient project execution.
Demonstrate multitasking abilities, managing multiple projects and administrative tasks.
Identify key risks and potential deal breakers during due diligence.
Analyze income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and operating data.
Synthesize data into observations and conclusions.
Produce due diligence reports to communicate findings.
Lead due diligence calls with client and target company management.
Review audit workpapers to understand accounting policies.
Provide insights to purchase agreements and deal documents.
Participate in business development including client pursuits and proposals.
Mentor and train junior team members.
