Job summary

Stout in Houston is seeking a Senior Vice President for our Transaction Advisory practice to lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for PE and corporate clients, shaping investment decisions with rigorous insights.

You will supervise analysts, manage multiple engagements, identify deal risks, and analyze income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and operating data to inform negotiations and closing strategies. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related major.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in audit and/or financial accounting due diligence (2+ years in dd).
• CPA certification and Big Four experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise analysts and associates to ensure efficient project execution.
• Identify risks and deal breakers during due diligence.
• Analyze income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and operating data.
• Synthesize data into observations and conclusions.
• Produce due diligence reports and communicate findings.
• Lead due diligence calls with client and target management.
• Review audit workpapers and policies.
• Provide insights to purchase agreements and deal documents.
• Involve in business development, client pursuits and proposals.
• Participate in hiring and training of junior staff.
