Job summary

Stout is seeking a Senior Vice President in Transaction Advisory to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients, delivering critical insights that shape investment decisions.

You will supervise analysts, drive multiple projects, and collaborate with management teams while upholding Stout's values of Positive, Team-Oriented, and Relentless Excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in audit and/or financial accounting due diligence (2+ years in diligence).
• Big Four experience preferred.
• CPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise analysts and associates for efficient project execution.
• Manage multiple projects and administrative tasks concurrently.
• Identify risks and deal breakers during due diligence.
• Analyze income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and operations.
• Synthesize observations into actionable conclusions.
• Produce due diligence reports and present findings.
• Lead due diligence calls with client and target management.
• Review audit workpapers and accounting policies.
• Provide insights to purchase agreements and deal documents.
• Contribute to business development and proposals.
• Participate in hiring and training of junior staff.
