Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Vice President, Commercial Banker - ABL/Tech to build a new book of business with venture-backed technology companies. You will identify target markets, underwrite complex loans, and coordinate closings in line with lending policies while expanding treasury and deposit relationships.

You will develop strong client relationships, collaborate with treasury partners, and travel as needed to meet prospects and clients, balancing risk with growth opportunities

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration and treasury management.
• Regulatory and legal compliance obligations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify target market and develop a book of new business.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and close complex loans per policies.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and deposits.
• Coordinate closing and processing of loans with relevant teams.
• Represent the bank in community and market activities to grow business.
• Call and visit target customers to promote products and services.
• Maintain customer data and prepare reports for management.
