Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Vice President, Commercial Banker specializing in Innovation/Tech ABL to build a new book of business and manage complex loans. You will work closely with treasury partners to deliver seamless client experiences and drive deposit growth.

The role requires 7+ years in banking, strong relationship management, and the ability to travel up to 50%. Located in Denver, CO, with competitive compensation and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• May require up to 50% travel.
• Requires interest in working with venture-backed technology companies.

Responsibilities

• Identify target market for new business and develop a book from relationships.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and close major loans in line with policy.
• Develop treasury and deposit relationships with customers.
• Assist clients with deposit products and related services.
• Call and visit target customers to promote bank products and build a new book of business.
• Maintain customer data and generate reports for management.
• Present financing requests to senior management or Loan Committee.
