Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• May require up to 50% travel.
• Requires interest in working with venture-backed technology companies.

Responsibilities

• Identify target markets for new business and develop a book of new business from those relationships.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of major and complex loans per bank policies.
• Develop business checking and deposit relationships with customers.
• Assist clients with deposit products and services and gather/analyze client information for deposit solutions.
• Compile/analyze market research data to recommend products/services for target market.
• Engage in business development activities and solicit new business.
• Collaborate with treasury partner for seamless client experiences.
• Call/visit target customers to promote bank products and services, building new book of business.
• Maintain customer database and generate reports for management.
• Interview applicants and gather information for loan/credit applications; resolve questions.
• Pre-qualify and analyze financial condition and financing risk.
• Present financing requests to senior management/Loan Committee.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans and ensure compliance with policies.
