Western Alliance Bank, a subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, seeks a Vice President, Commercial Banker - Innovation Banking in Boston to identify target markets and build a new book of business. You will negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate loan closings while expanding deposit relationships and cross-selling treasury services.

You will collaborate with treasury partners, manage client data, and present financing requests to senior management, leveraging deep relationship management

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• General banking operations knowledge (deposits, loans, treasury and related services).
• Regulatory and legal compliance obligations knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge in relationship management.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify target market and develop a book of new business from relationships.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate closing of major and complex loans.
• Develop business checking and deposit relationships and promote deposit products.
• Collaborate with treasury partner to ensure seamless client experiences.
• Call and visit target customers to establish a new book of business.
• Prepare financing requests and present to senior management or Loan Committee.
