Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Vice President, Teaching & Learning to scale onCourse, our AI-native platform for higher education. This executive will blend market insight with Clarivate’s university relationships to build a new growth business and drive revenue.

The role requires deep experience in higher education technology, product strategy, and go-to-market execution, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and complex enterprise deals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in higher education technology, enterprise edtech, SaaS, or related markets.
• 5+ years leading a business unit, product strategy, or general management.
• Experience launching or scaling a disruptive software product or new venture.
• Experience owning go-to-market, pricing, and pipeline development.
• Experience with higher education institutions, enterprise customers, and partners.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, product, marketing, technology, finance, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the business strategy, product direction, market development, and revenue growth for onCourse.
• Define market focus, segments, value proposition, growth model, and launch path.
• Set product vision and roadmap priorities with Technology, grounded in customer needs and market opportunities.
• Lead customer discovery, design partner engagement, and product-market fit validation.
• Own revenue plan, go-to-market, pricing, pipeline strategy, and sales enablement with multiple teams.
• Develop executive relationships with universities, early adopters, and strategic prospects.
