Job summary

Clarivate Plc seeks a Vice President, Teaching & Learning to shape onCourse, an AI-native platform for higher education that aims to transform teaching, curriculum intelligence, and student success. This executive will build a growth business leveraging university relationships, rich data assets, and global reach.

The role demands 10+ years in edtech leadership, P&L oversight, and a track record in scaling ventures, GTM execution, and enterprise sales across universities and partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in higher education technology, enterprise edtech, digital learning, SaaS, or related market.
• 5+ years of experience leading a business unit, product strategy, and/or general management functions.
• Demonstrated experience launching or scaling disruptive software products or ventures.
• Experience owning go-to-market and product strategy, pricing, pipeline development.
• Experience working with higher education institutions, enterprise customers, and strategic partners.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, product management, product marketing, technology, finance, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the business strategy, product direction, market development, commercialization, customer adoption, and revenue growth for onCourse and related Teaching & Learning opportunities.
• Define market focus, customer segments, value proposition, growth model, investment priorities, and path from launch to revenue scale.
• Set product vision and roadmap priorities in partnership with Technology, grounded in customer needs and commercial goals.
• Lead customer discovery, design partner engagement, and product-market fit validation to focus on adoption-driving capabilities.
• Own the revenue plan, go-to-market approach, pricing, pipeline strategy, and sales enablement model in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Technology.
• Develop executive relationships with universities, design partners, early adopters, and strategic prospects to accelerate validation and pipeline creation.
• Drive pipeline creation, deal progression, customer conversion, and predictable commercial performance.
• Lead an integrated team across sales, product management, and product marketing while partnering with technology, content, AI, finance, and operations.
• Align senior leaders around the business case, market opportunity, investment needs, and path to growth.
