Job summary

Clarivate seeks a Vice President, Teaching & Learning to shape and scale onCourse, an AI-native platform transforming teaching, learning, curriculum intelligence, and student success in higher education. This is a high-impact executive role to build a growth business by leveraging Clarivate’s university relationships, differentiated data assets, and global reach.

The role requires a track record leading edtech/SAAS businesses, creating go-to-market strategies, and delivering repeatable adoption

Qualifications

• 10+ years in leadership in higher education technology, enterprise edtech, SaaS, or related market.
• 5+ years leading a business unit, product strategy, or general management.
• Demonstrated experience launching, building, or scaling a disruptive software product.
• Experience owning or contributing to go-to-market, pricing, and pipeline strategy.
• Experience working with higher education institutions and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the business strategy, product direction, market development, and revenue growth for onCourse and related offerings.
• Define market focus, customer segments, value proposition, growth model, and investment priorities.
• Set product vision and roadmap priorities in partnership with Technology, grounded in customer needs and commercial goals.
• Lead customer discovery, design partner engagement, and product-market fit validation for adoption.
• Own the revenue plan, go-to-market approach, pricing, pipeline strategy, and sales enablement with cross-functional partners.
• Develop executive relationships with universities, design partners, early adopters, and strategic prospects.
• Drive pipeline creation, deal progression, customer conversion, and predictable commercial performance.
• Lead an integrated team across sales, product management, and product marketing with close partnership to technology and operations.
• Align senior leaders around the business case, market opportunity, and investment needs.
