Avidbank is seeking a Vice President, Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of clients in the Venture Lending division, building strong banking relationships that drive loans, deposits and services. The role requires ownership of client relationships, performance monitoring, and coordinated effort with internal teams to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Venture Banking, venture capital, private equity or leveraged finance with a technology focus.
• Experience in deal structuring, underwriting and managing a deal through committee approvals.
• Strong underwriting and portfolio management skills.
• Results oriented with ability to lead and motivate junior staff.
• Financial modeling experience and comfort with data analysis.
• Thrives in a dynamic and remote work environment.
• Skilled communicator (written and verbal).
• Ability to interpret financial data and run actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Own borrower relationships within the portfolio and coordinate with support groups to deliver excellent client experience.
• Track client operations performance and monitor borrower performance with partners.
• Ensure credits are graded per risk procedures and maintain collateral and due diligence.
• Conduct ongoing financial analysis to identify opportunities and value add for clients.
• Lead underwriting, approval, negotiation and closing for funding requests or modifications.
• Coordinate with clients and Bank to win new funds and manage loan documentation.
