Job summary

Affirm is seeking a visionary leader for the VP, People Business Partners & Employee Relations role. You will shape the global PBP and ER operating model, build elite teams, and partner with the XLT and Legal to guide enterprise-wide people decisions.

The position requires deep expertise across organizational consulting, talent planning, and executive coaching. You will work with the C-suite to anticipate workforce needs, design scalable org structures, and enhance leadership effectiveness

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive People leadership in global tech
• Global PBP and ER leadership experience
• Experience handling sensitive investigations with Legal
• Proven ability to advise C-suite and executives
• Deep expertise in organizational consulting and workforce planning

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and operating model for global PBP and ER
• Build high-performing PBP and ER teams with clear standards
• Serve as strategic advisor to XLT on enterprise-wide decisions
• Understand affirm's business and anticipate workforce implications
• Partner with XLT on workforce strategy including deployment of talent
• Help leaders design organizations that improve speed and alignment
• Raise leadership quality through talent planning and evaluations
• Guide leaders through major organizational change
• Set ER strategy and operating model globally
• Oversee complex ER matters and executive investigations
• Use ER data to identify risks and drive proactive actions
• Collaborate with Legal on employment practices and risk management
