Job summary

Affirm, a remote-first company, seeks a VP, People Business Partners & Employee Relations to lead global PBP & ER functions. You’ll partner with the CPO, PLT and XLT to shape enterprise-wide people strategy and drive organizational impact.

In this role you’ll design operating models, build high performing teams, advise on leadership development, risk management and workforce planning while advancing an inclusive culture across the company.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive People leadership experience.
• Experience leading a global PBP organization.
• Experience with Employee Relations incl. investigations and legal collaboration.
• Proven ability to partner with C-suite executives and maintain independent judgment.
• Expertise in organizational consulting, effectiveness, and strategic workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, structure, and operating model for global PBP and ER functions.
• Build high-performing PBP and ER teams with coaching and selective hiring.
• Develop relationships with XLT and serve as strategic advisor on leadership and organizational decisions.
• Understand affirm's business and anticipate workforce implications enterprise-wide.
• Partner with XLT on workforce strategy and deploy talent leveraging tech and AI.
