Job summary

Affirm is seeking a visionary VP, People Business Partners & Employee Relations to lead global PBP and ER, partnering with the CPO and XLT to shape a scalable operating model. Build and coach strong teams, manage executive-level investigations, and align workforce strategy with business goals across regions.

You will drive enterprise-wide leadership development, succession planning, and critical talent decisions while partnering with Legal to manage risk and ensure fair practices.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive People leadership in global technology organizations.
• Experience leading a global PBP organization and building high-performing teams.
• Experience leading Employee Relations, investigations, and working with Legal.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with C-suite and exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy, structure, and operating model for global PBP and ER functions.
• Build independent, high-performing PBP and ER teams through coaching and talent decisions.
• Develop trusted relationships with XLT as a strategic advisor on enterprise-wide decisions.
• Understand affirm's business and anticipate workforce implications at scale.
• Collaborate on workforce strategy, talent deployment, and tech leverage including AI.
• Guide leaders through organizational change and strengthen leadership development.
• Oversee Employee Relations with sensitivity, investigations, and policy issues.
