Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking a Vice President, Finance to lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights. You will run the annual plan, long-range model, and forecasting across departments, partnering with the CFO and executives to shape strategy and investments.

You'll build and mentor a team of managers, deliver board-ready materials, and ensure data quality and consistent reporting across the organization. Experience in insurance finance is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience, with 5+ years of managing people.
• Proven track record in planning and forecasting for regulated industries such as insurance.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics expertise.
• Experience partnering with data teams and providing clear, actionable insights.
• Experience building, coaching, and growing teams of managers.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets, planning tools, and BI/reporting tools.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
• Solid understanding of insurance metrics and board-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams; align work with company goals.
• Run annual planning and long-range financial modeling from start to finish with CFO input.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across departments.
• Present financial results and recommendations to executive leadership and the board.
• Lead strategic finance work: business cases, unit economics, growth and pricing.
• Oversee data quality and standard reporting for leaders across the company.
• Create company-wide planning and budgeting processes; coach managers and hires.
• Identify risks/trends and advise on early changes; collaborate with cross-functional leaders.
• Support fundraising efforts with CFO and executives.
