Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead long-range planning, budgeting, and the financial health of the business. You will report to the CFO and oversee FP&A, product finance, and business insights, turning strategy into clear financial plans and building a strong finance team.

You will forecast, present results to executives, support fundraising, and collaborate with Accounting, Actuarial, Product, Sales, and Data leaders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles, with 5+ years leading managers.
• Proven track record owning planning and forecasting for a business in a regulated industry.
• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Experience working with BI/data teams and strong data-driven decision making.
• Experience coaching and growing teams of managers.
• Advanced skills with Google Sheets and financial planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams; align work with company goals.
• Own annual planning and long-range financial model from start to finish.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis across departments.
• Present financial results and forecasts to executive leadership; influence strategy.
• Drive business cases, unit economics, growth and pricing analyses.
• Ensure data quality and standardized reporting across the company.
• Partner with CFO and leaders in fundraising efforts.
