Branch Financial, LLC is hiring a Vice President of Finance to lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights, turning strategy into financial plans and owning the long-term model. You will partner with the CFO and executives to guide investments and build a leadership team of managers.

You will oversee forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across claims, production, underwriting, and other departments, driving clear, data-informed decisions that shape company strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven track record owning planning and forecasting for a business in regulated environments.
• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Experience with BI/data teams and data-driven decision making.
• Experience building and growing teams of managers.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and financial planning/BI tools.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics; MBA is a plus.
• Strong understanding of insurance financial metrics (loss, expense, combined ratios).
• Experience supporting board-level financial reporting and investor relations.

Responsabilités

• Lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams.
• Own long-range financial model and annual plan.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis across departments.
• Present financial results and recommendations to executive teams.
• Support CFO in fundraising efforts and strategic finance work.
• Develop managers and teams, including hiring and coaching.
• Prepare board materials and shareholder reporting.
• Ensure regulatory and statutory financial reporting compliance.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Actuarial, Product, Sales, Claims, and Data leaders.
• Create company-wide planning and budgeting standards.
• Identify trends and risks; adjust plans accordingly.
