Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead FP&A, product finance and business insights. You will own the annual plan, long-range financial model, and the company’s planning process, partnering with CFO and the executive team to translate strategy into financial actions.

You will build and coach a team of managers, oversee forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across departments, and present actionable recommendations to drive growth and value for shareholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles, including 5+ years leading managers.
• Proven track record owning planning and forecasting for a business in regulated industries.
• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Experience collaborating with a data/BI team and presenting to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams and align with company goals.
• Run annual plan and long-range financial model from start to finish.
• Oversee forecasting, budget tracking, and variance analysis across all departments.
• Present financial results and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Drive strategic finance work including business cases and growth analysis.
• Set reporting standards for business insights and data quality.
• Create company-wide planning and budgeting practices for department owners.
• Partner with Accounting, Actuarial, Product, Sales, Claims, and Data leads.
• Manage a team of 10, including hiring, coaching, and leadership development.
• Support board materials, investor presentations, and shareholder reporting.
• Oversee regulatory, statutory, and compliance financial reporting.
