Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights. You will own the long-range financial model, guide budgeting, forecasting, and strategic investments, and partner with CFO and executive leadership to translate strategy into actionable financial plans.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, oversee cross-functional planning processes, and drive data quality and consistent reporting across the company.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related finance roles.
• 5+ years leading managers.
• Proven track record owning planning and forecasting for a business in highly regulated environments (insurance or insurtech).
• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Experience with BI or data teams and data-driven decision making.
• Experience building and growing teams of managers.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and BI/reporting tools.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams and align with company goals.
• Lead annual planning and long-range financial modeling from start to finish with CFO approval.
• Oversee forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis across departments (claims, production, underwriting).
• Present financial results, forecasts, and investment recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead business cases, scenario planning, and unit economics analysis for key decisions.
• Ensure data quality and standardized reporting across the organization.
• Partner with Accounting, Actuarial, Product, Sales, Claims, and Data leaders to connect financial plans to operations.
