Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Vice President of Engineering for a $200MM manufacturer in Morgantown, PA. This senior executive will lead all engineering functions, aligning technical execution with business strategy to deliver high-quality products on time, within budget.

Qualifications

Fifteen years of engineering experience with at least five in a leadership role.
Experience reducing product complexity and streamlining engineering processes.
In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks.
Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred).
Manufacturing industry background preferred.

Responsibilities

Define long-term technical strategy and product development roadmap.
Identify and implement new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Oversee R&D initiatives for new product development and improvements.
Bridge design and production with strong cross-functional collaboration.
Lead Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement programs to reduce costs.
Ensure manufacturability and design-for-manufacturing principles.
Oversee full product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
Manage schedules and budgets, control technical debt.
Enforce rigorous quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Provide strategic leadership for safety and team culture.
