Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Vice President (VP) of Engineering for a $200M manufacturing company. The role leads design, R&D, production engineering, and technical support to deliver high-quality products on schedule and within budget.

Location: Morgantown, PA. Compensation: $275,000–$300,000 plus bonus. Immediate availability with relocation and benefits packages. MBA preferred; Lean Six Sigma encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is required.
• MBA (preferred).
• Fifteen years of engineering experience with at least five years in a leadership role.
• Experience reducing product complexity and streamlining processes.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Experience in a production-oriented engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Roadmap: Define long-term strategy and product development roadmap.
• Innovation & Technology: Identify and implement new technologies and processes.
• R&D Management: Oversee initiatives for new product development and improvements.
• Production Support: Align design with manufacturing for seamless production.
• Process Improvement: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Ensure manufacturability in new products.
• Project Oversight: Manage full product development lifecycle.
• Schedule and Budget: Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Quality Standards and Regulatory Compliance: Enforce standards and certifications.
• Risk Management: Identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Leadership development and culture: foster safety, inclusion, and teamwork.
