Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a Vice President of Engineering for a 200MM-dollar manufacturer in Morgantown, PA. This senior role leads all engineering functions, including design, R&D, production engineering, and technical support, aligning technical execution with business strategy.

The VP will drive a long-term roadmap, oversee R&D, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of high-quality products. Immediate availability and relocation support are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• MBA preferred.
• Fifteen years of engineering experience with leadership.
• Experience reducing product complexity and streamlining processes.
• SolidWorks proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term technical strategy and product development roadmap.
• Identify and implement new technologies, materials, and processes.
• Oversee R&D initiatives for new product development and improvements.
• Bridge design and production with manufacturing teams.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste and costs.
• Ensure projects are delivered within timeline and budget.
• Maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.
