The Vice President (VP) of Engineering for a $200M manufacturer leads all engineering functions, including design, R&D, production engineering and technical support, ensuring products are developed, manufactured and delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality. Located in Dauphin County, PA with no remote work, this direct-hire role expects immediate availability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Fifteen years engineering experience with leadership in a large organization.
Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
Experience in production-oriented engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Define the long-term technical strategy and product development roadmap.
Identify and implement new technologies, materials and processes (Industry 4.0).
Oversee R&D initiatives for new products and process improvements.
Bridge design and production, ensuring seamless incorporation of new products.
Lead Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee product lifecycle from concept to production launch.
Ensure projects meet schedule, budget and quality standards.
Maintain regulatory compliance and risk management practices.
