Job summary

Chase is seeking an Experience Design Vice President to shape user experiences across products and services. You will lead strategic design initiatives, mentor designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create accessible, user-centered solutions in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

You will drive conversational AI design for an in-app assistant, mentor designers, and align UX with AI/ML initiatives to maintain Chase's competitive edge in finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in user experience design or similar roles.
• Experience designing for inclusive design and accessibility guidelines.
• Proven ability to lead design teams within agile environments.
• Strong understanding of language models and UX implications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute design/research strategies aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Diagram service flows and features, design wireframes, and prototyping for key touchpoints.
• Mentor junior designers and foster inclusive design practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UX into product development processes.
• Analyze market trends and user research to inform design decisions across platforms.
• Lead design of conversational flows for AI-driven tools and improve NLU/LLM experiences.
• Articulate design rationale with storytelling and documentation for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with ML teams to train and refine NLU models.
