Job summary

Citi is seeking an Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst (Mainframe) at Vice President level to oversee production support for custody settlements. You will partner with multiple tech teams to ensure smooth migration, enhance observability, and drive incident resolution while enforcing ITIL practices.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, guide junior analysts, and define system scope for complex enhancements, ensuring compliance and risk management are embedded in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience
• Strategic problem solving and strong thinking skills
• Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building abilities
• Knowledge of Securities Custody business preferred
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

Responsibilities

• Drive production support readiness for client onboarding and migrations, ensuring deliveries meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with technology, infrastructure, and operational stakeholders during migrations.
• Enable observability for client deliverables using existing infrastructure and OpenTelemetry.
• Identify stability risks and analyze incident trends to drive long-term problem management.
• Enforce ITIL practices, enhance monitoring, and improve operational scores across app stack.
• Resolve incidents to support BAU user queries and system incidents.
• Partner with multiple tech teams to integrate functions and define necessary enhancements.
• Provide expert guidance and coaching to junior analysts.
• Document requirements and define system scope for complex improvements.
• Work with Product Owners and Analysts to document impacts and support needs.
• Identify risks and communicate mitigation options; support risk management and compliance.
