Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. in Atlanta is seeking a VP, Senior Underwriting Manager to lead a regional E&S Property underwriting team. The role focuses on coaching, portfolio management, and relationship-building with brokers and carriers.

The position requires strong underwriting expertise in E&S Property, 2+ years of people management, and the ability to navigate complex processes while driving profitable growth. Hybrid work supports flexibility for travel and broker engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of experience in underwriting, market facing, broker, carrier, or risk management within commercial insurance OR Bachelor’s Degree with 20+ years in claims or underwriting support within commercial insurance; E&S Property experience required.
• Experience in E&S Property.
• 2+ years of people management experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop, coach, and manage a high-performing regional Property underwriting team.
• Drive regional performance including new business production, policy count retention, rate/tiering execution, and portfolio management actions.
• Manage regional wholesale broker relationships and underwriter referrals; maintain a small production portfolio to stay in touch with market changes.
• Travel as necessary (approximately 25%) to support team needs and broker relationships; operate in a hybrid Atlanta-based role.
