Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an accomplished VP of Business Development for HVAC to own our largest multi-location deals, from first meeting to signed contract. This role focuses on closing high-value opportunities across many locations with ownership and regional leaders, supported by our inbound and SDR teams.

You will lead end-to-end sales cycles, targeting multi-location HVAC and home service groups, with a $2M annual quota and no direct reports.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in selling to multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience closing large deals and managing long, consultative sales cycles.
• Ability to engage owners, regional operators and marketing leaders.
• Self-driven anonymous seeker who thrives as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large HVAC deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 months).
• Manage relationships with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion to additional locations and services after signings.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to craft proposals for high-value deals.
