Job summary

King & George is seeking a Vice President of Business Development in Fort Worth, TX to lead strategic growth, customer engagement, and proposal execution. You will shape the BD strategy, manage the pipeline, and drive major pursuits across government and commercial opportunities.

The role involves leading capture, proposal, and staffing efforts, developing processes, and coordinating with senior leadership to ensure alignment with corporate goals and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Company's annual and long-term business development strategy.
• Identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities aligned with capabilities and objectives.
• Manage the qualified pipeline, backlog growth, and pursuit priorities.
• Monitor federal market trends, requirements, contract vehicles, recompetes, and opportunities.
• Lead and support capture and proposal activities, including pricing coordination and win themes.
• Engage customers, partners, and industry groups to expand market presence and relationships.
• Coordinate with Finance, Contracts, and Legal on pricing, compliance, and risk.
• Ensure transitions from award to operations with complete customer intelligence and plans.
• Mentor and develop the BD and proposal organization and establish scalable processes.
