Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc seeks a Vice President for Institutional Portfolio Group in New York. You will manage a portfolio of Banks, including Correspondent Banks, coordinating across HSBC to deliver products and services and drive opportunities to execution.

The role requires strong collaboration, deep knowledge of financial markets and risk management, and adherence to AML/KYC standards. Licensing and governance are essential in client engagements and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in banking/financial services, with exposure to Financial Institutions.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence across countries, teams and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of financial markets and banking products (cash management, custody, trade, lending, capital markets).
• Strong risk mindset, familiarity with credit fundamentals and financial crime / AML / KYC expectations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office; proactive and accountable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coverage for a portfolio of Banks, including Correspondent Banks.
• Coordinate across HSBC network to deliver products and services and drive opportunities to execution.
• Plan and deliver client meetings, materials, and events in support of business development and strategy.
• Support revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost discipline.
• Maintain relationships with client contacts and internal stakeholders across regions and product teams.
• Assist origination and execution across HSBC capabilities and products.
• Collaborate with product and risk teams to balance risk and return and meet governance requirements.
• Act as First Line of Defense for financial crime and relationship risk across the portfolio.
