CoreSite is seeking a Vice President & Assistant General Counsel focused on Mergers & Acquisitions. You will lead high-value transactions, structure complex agreements, and work with executives to balance risk and growth across data-center assets.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence and travel up to 25%. JD, active US bar, and 5+ years in corporate/M&A are required; experience with large-scale deals (> $100M) is preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one US state.
• 5+ years of M&A and corporate transactions experience.
• Experience handling transactions >$100 million is preferred.
• Background with data center, real estate, telecom, or digital infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, risk assessment, and executive advising skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal aspects of acquisitions, mergers, and strategic transactions.
• Structure and negotiate purchase, merger, JV, and investment agreements.
• Oversee due diligence and risk assessments; advise senior management.
• Coordinate outside counsel and cross-functional teams through closings.
• Negotiate major tenant leases, licenses, and acquisition documents.
• Manage litigation strategy with outside counsel as needed.
• Travel up to 25% and adapt to hybrid on-site requirements.
