Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Vice President, Legal - Mergers & Acquisitions to lead all transactional matters, guide executives, and shape the company’s growth through major acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

The role requires deep M&A expertise, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment with some travel. JD and active bar admission are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor with bar admission.
• 5+ years in M&A and corporate transactions.
• Experience handling high-value deals (>$100M).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Hybrid work experience and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, mergers and strategic transactions.
• Structure and negotiate purchase, merger, JV and investment agreements.
• Lead due diligence and risk assessments.
• Advise executives on transaction structure and post-closing obligations.
• Coordinate outside counsel and cross-functional teams through closings.
• Manage external counsel in litigation matters as needed.
