Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Vice President, Legal - Mergers & Acquisitions to lead strategic acquisitions and related transactions for data-center assets. This executive will drive structuring, due diligence and negotiations across complex deals in a hybrid work environment.

Reporting to the SVP and General Counsel, the role requires deep M&A expertise, strong business judgment, and the ability to coordinate legal, real estate, finance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar license.
• Extensive M&A and corporate transaction experience, incl. >$100M deals.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and due diligence leadership.
• Ability to advise C-suite and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, mergers, and strategic transactions.
• Structure, negotiate, and review purchase, merger, JV and related documents.
• Oversee due diligence and assess transaction risk; counsel executives.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and internal stakeholders through closing.
• Lead lease, telecom licenses, and other major contract negotiations.
