Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Vice President & Assistant General Counsel for Mergers & Acquisitions (Finance). The role leads the legal strategy for corporate transactions, negotiates complex agreements, and guides executives through due diligence and structuring. Hybrid work with regular on-site collaboration is expected.

Required JD, active U.S. bar, and 5+ years in M&A and corporate transactions, including large deals.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of legal experience in M&A and corporate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, mergers, and strategic transactions.
• Structure and negotiate purchase, merger, JV, investment agreements, and related documents.
• Lead due diligence and advise on transaction structure, risk, and post-closing obligations.
• Support data center acquisitions and development.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and cross-functional stakeholders through closing.
