CoreSite is seeking a Vice President, Legal - Mergers & Acquisitions to lead the legal aspects of strategic transactions in data centers and digital infrastructure. You will partner with senior leadership, coordinate outside counsel, and ensure regulatory compliance and business alignment.

Requires a JD, active U.S. bar, 5+ years in M&A with large transactions; private equity/REIT/tech experience preferred. Hybrid work with on-site presence up to 2 days weekly and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of legal experience in M&A and corporate transactions.
• Big law M&A experience and transactions above $100M preferred.
• Experience with private equity, REITs, technology or digital infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, mergers, and strategic transactions.
• Structure and negotiate purchase, merger, JV and ancillary agreements.
• Oversee due diligence and risk assessment for transactions.
• Advise executives on structure, diligence outcomes, and protections.
• Coordinate outside counsel and cross-functional stakeholders through closings.
• Negotiate major leases and telecom licenses; draft and review transaction drafts.
