Job summary

CoreSite, LLC seeks a Vice President & Assistant General Counsel, Mergers & Acquisitions (Finance) to lead the legal strategy for strategic transactions and growth initiatives. You will oversee complex M&A, private equity and technology sector deals and collaborate with senior leadership on corporate transactions.

The role combines high-level legal expertise with commercial judgment in a hybrid work setting; travel may be required as part of deal execution and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of legal experience in M&A and corporate transactions.
• Significant experience leading transactions valued above $100 million.
• Experience with private equity, REITs, technology or digital infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, mergers, and strategic transactions.
• Structure and negotiate purchase, merger, JV, investment agreements and related documents.
• Lead due diligence and assess transaction risk.
• Advise executive leadership on structure, diligence outcomes, valuation risks, protections, and post-closing obligations.
• Support acquisitions and development of data centers.
• Coordinate outside counsel and cross-functional stakeholders through closing.
