Job summary

Amentum is seeking a strategic Vice President of Finance Excellence and Transformation to lead a technology-centric, enterprise-wide finance transformation. This role will unify finance processes post-acquisition growth and design a scalable target operating model enabling long-term profitable growth.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Finance, the role oversees multi-year roadmaps, governance, and data alignment across finance functions and enterprise operations.

Qualifications

• Typically 12–15+ years in Finance, Program Finance, or Financial Operations, with leadership of enterprise-wide transformation.
• Experience leading post-M&A financial process integration, legacy system consolidation, and data harmonization in a Govcon environment.
• US Citizenship required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year finance transformation roadmap.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Finance, IT, HR and Operations.
• Drive automation, data governance, and reporting improvements across H2R, P2P, O2C, and R2R processes.
• Establish KPIs and governance frameworks for transformation initiatives.
• Manage stakeholders and external consultants to ensure successful program delivery.
