Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance Excellence and Transformation to lead a technology-centric enterprise-wide finance transformation.

Following rapid growth through acquisitions this position will play a critical role in unifying our finance landscape and creating a scalable, integrated future-state operating model that supports Amentum’s long-term profitable growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Typically 12–15+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Financial Operations, with at least 5 years leading enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; master’s degree is preferred.
• US Citizenship is required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide finance transformation programs and multi-year roadmaps.
• Partner with CFO leadership and stakeholders across functions to design and deliver transformation initiatives.
• Define KPIs and governance for ongoing program measurement and reporting.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, external consultants, and technology vendors.
• Drive data governance, automation, and AI-enabled finance processes.
