Job summary

Amentum seeks a seasoned Vice President of Finance Excellence and Transformation to drive a technology-centric, enterprise-wide finance transformation after rapid growth through acquisitions. The role partners with the CFO team to design a multi-year roadmap, enhance processes, data, and governance, and deliver scalable operating models.

Qualifications

• Typically 12–15+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Program Finance, or Financial Operations, with at least 5 years leading enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.
• US Citizenship is required to apply.
• Experience leading post-M&A financial process integration, legacy system consolidation, and data harmonization in a GovCon environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop transformation vision with CFO leadership to align with strategy and value creation.
• Establish stakeholder engagement to secure buy-in from key leaders.
• Lead change management across Finance, Contracts, IT, HR and Operations with process harmonization.
• Assess current-state processes, systems, and legacy platforms for gaps and integration needs.
• Lead end-to-end strategy, planning and execution of enterprise-wide finance transformation program.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities across project phases, including scope and milestones.
• Drive automation, data governance, and reporting improvements.
• Set KPIs and review progress with leadership to adapt strategies.
• Manage cross-functional teams, external consultants, and vendors.
