Job summary

The Bancorp Bank in a remote-capable role seeks a Vice President of Strategic Initiatives to drive finance transformation across planning, reporting and risk management. You will lead high-impact projects, design scalable workflows, and partner with Treasury, Accounting, and Technology to deliver repeatable, value-adding results.

With 10+ years in regulated financial services, you will shape the organization’s planning, data, and governance, ensuring timely executive and board-level materials

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Math or related field; or equivalent experience.
• MBA or professional certification preferred.
• At least 10 years in finance/strategic planning or related areas in banking/fintech.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and risk.
• Proven process-architecture experience with finance workflows and tech.
• Experience with enterprise planning or reporting platforms is a plus.
• Advanced modeling with Excel/PowerPoint; proficient with data analysis.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports financial planning and performance management including budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyzes actual results vs. budget to identify drivers and risks.
• Designs new reporting processes, dashboards, and management metrics.
• Supports capital planning, profitability analysis and scenario modeling.
• Prepares ALCO materials with Treasury and Accounting teams.
• Improves ALCO production workflow with automation and controls.
• Leads finance system implementations from requirements to adoption.
• Communicates complex financial topics to executives clearly.
