Job summary

The Bancorp seeks a Vice President, Strategic Initiatives to lead cross‑functional finance optimization efforts. You will shape budgeting, forecasting, and balance‑sheet strategy while driving process redesign and technology integration across Finance, TB, and investment teams.

You will produce executive‑level insights, manage complex data, and guide ALCO materials with a disciplined project framework. A remote‑friendly role requiring quarterly leadership meetings and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
• MBA, advanced degree, or relevant professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, strategic planning, treasury, investment management, or financial operations within banking, fintech, or another regulated financial-services environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, balance-sheet management, net interest income and margin drivers, interest-rate and liquidity risk, and capital management.
• Demonstrated track record as a process architect, designing and implementing new, better, and faster finance workflows, including process redesign, workflow automation, and technology implementations, required.

Responsibilities

• Supports financial planning and performance management, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting.
• Analyzes actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify key drivers.
• Designs new reporting processes, dashboards, and management metrics.
• Supports capital planning, profitability analysis, expense management, and financial scenario modeling.
• Prepares ALCO materials in partnership with Treasury, Accounting, Risk, lending, deposit, and investment teams.
• Analyzes balance-sheet composition, liquidity, funding, interest-rate risk, deposit trends, and investment activity.
• Prepares executive summaries identifying trends, risks, and recommended actions.
• Improves ALCO production workflow with data sourcing, templates, and controls.
