Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking a Vice President, Finance to lead planning, measurement, and understanding of the company’s financial health. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams, transforming strategy into clear financial plans.

You will manage the annual plan, long-range model, and budgeting process, present to the executive team, and partner across departments to align resources with goals in a remote-first environment designed for growth.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles, including 5+ years managing teams.
• Proven track record owning planning and forecasting for a business in insurance or highly regulated environments.
• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Experience leading or partnering with a BI/data team to enable data-driven decisions.
• Experience building, coaching, and growing teams of managers.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets, financial planning tools, and BI/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams; align with company goals.
• Run annual planning and long-range financial model from start to finish.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across departments.
• Present financial results and recommendations to executives and leadership.
• Partner with CFO and executives on fundraising and strategic investments.
