Job summary

The Bancorp Bank seeks a VP Solutions Architect to shape fintech partnerships and translate business needs into executable solutions within a regulated environment.

You will lead cross-functional delivery across Product Management, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Technology, and Sales, driving governance, accountability, and practical outcomes for strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8 years in financial services, fintech, banking products, product management, strategic initiatives, or related business functions.
• 5 years in product management, project management, program management, or solutions delivery in a financial services environment.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives, product launches, product enhancements, or partner program execution in a regulated environment.
• Strong project management, including planning, dependency management, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder communication.
• Demonstrated ability to influence organizational change, align cross-functional teams, and drive execution against a strategic agenda.
• Working knowledge of bank risk management frameworks and cross-functional stakeholder roles, including Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Technology.
• Solid understanding of product development lifecycles, governance processes, implementation practices, and operational controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical, actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage audiences at all levels and present complex topics clearly.
• Ability to operate independently in a self-managed team environment while maintaining strong collaboration across teams.
• Occasional travel required.
• Demonstrates strong motivation, accountability and resilience in pursuing goals, delivering high-quality results and continuously improving performance.
• Demonstrates the ability and willingness to learn and use approved artificial intelligence tools to improve productivity, decision-making and work quality, while keeping use compliant with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives and partner needs into actionable product requirements.
• Design scalable solutions aligned with product priorities and initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across PM, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Technology, and other stakeholder groups.
• Develop project plans, timelines, action items, and dependency tracking to support timely delivery of key initiatives.
• Track decisions, risks, issues, and deliverables for accountability.
• Facilitate meetings and status updates to maintain momentum.
• Build alignment among cross-functional stakeholders by clarifying objectives, roles, requirements, timelines, and decision points.
• Influence team members and business partners to support strategic priorities and adopt new processes.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to senior leaders, product teams, operational stakeholders, and partner-facing teams.
• Support organizational change by identifying adoption needs and coordinating implementation activities.
• Guides initiatives through governance and approval processes with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Technology.
• Ensures solutions align with approved product structures, internal frameworks, policies, and regulatory expectations.
• Identifies risks, control considerations, and operational impacts early and drives escalation or resolution.
• Supports audits, exams, and regulatory inquiries by gathering documentation and coordinating responses.
• Develops and maintains product documentation, governance materials, and implementation records.
• Maintains centralized documentation and knowledge repositories within SharePoint.
• Creates clear materials that help stakeholders understand scope, decisions, risks, and outcomes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
