Job summary

The Bancorp Bank, N.A. seeks a Vice President of Strategic Initiatives to advance finance strategy across budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, and technology-enabled processes.

This senior role drives design and delivery of repeatable, scalable workflows in a regulated financial-services environment. The role partners with Treasury, Accounting, Risk, and Investment teams to produce timely ALCO materials, executive summaries, and board-ready reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• MBA or relevant professional certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible finance/strategy experience in banking/fintech.
• Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and capital management.
• Proven process-architecture experience including redesign and automation of finance workflows.
• Experience with enterprise planning or reporting platforms is a plus.
• Advanced financial modeling in Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports financial planning and performance management, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyzes actual results against budget and drivers to identify key insights.
• Designs reporting processes, dashboards, and management metrics.
• Supports capital planning, profitability analysis, and scenario modelling.
• Prepares ALCO materials with Treasury, Accounting, Risk, and Investment teams.
• Improves ALCO production workflow and data sourcing processes.
• Leads finance system implementations from requirements to adoption.
• Establishes data definitions and documentation to ensure repeatable processes.
• Presents analyses and recommendations to executive management and Board.
